For my podcast, I will explore why we are seeing a resurgence of 90s and early 2000s fashion, music, and pop culture trends. From iconic looks like those in Clueless to early internet culture and Bratz doll-inspired styles, these elements are making a solid comeback, particularly on platforms like TikTok. I chose this topic because I grew up during this era and find it fascinating to see these trends re-emerging through a new lens. In my 2-minute podcast, I will discuss why these decades hold such nostalgic appeal, especially for younger generations. I will also incorporate relevant sounds, such as old ringtones and dial-up internet, to transport listeners back in time and evoke a sense of nostalgia.
